Speaker Biography
Jeff McCann specialises in community engagement projects, public art, workshops and education, collaborations, illustration, props and fashion. His artistic practice strives to create inclusive works that encourage his audience to get involvement and have fun.
The work Jeff creates fits a variety of spaces from retail and live events to traditional mediums like print and advertising.
Jeff has a sustainability-focused approach to their practice. This can include using second hand materials, repurposing old collateral from previous projects to make new work and/or considering the afterlife of the work.
He is inspired by childhood creativity and nostalgia, world building, games and the natural environment.
