Stay Home with the company of Australian Makers and Creatives

We are learning that distraction is a powerful technique during a stay home pandemic lockdown. Focusing on a creative activity helps move your energy inward and may even force you to forget to refresh the homepages of the news websites you have permanently open your computer.

Working on a creative project or activity is also a wonderful tool to spark connection. Whether it be with your iso-mates at home, or via your Instagram feed, collaborating on a shared creative goal is a great way to feel a sense of purpose.

Like so many of you, our days (or even hours) have been up and down. The changes we’ve been adapting to have been hard. The devastating effects we’ve already seen on our beloved community has been heartbreaking. We accept that things have, and will continue to change as a result of this pandemic. But there is also hope.

The agility and resilience we’ve seen the Australian maker and creative community have shown towards the stay home restrictions has been truly inspiring. Below, we are sharing a round-up of activities and projects to help you through these times, staying home.
